What is Defect Liability Period (“DLP”)?

A defect liability period (“DLP”) is the Developer’s warranty period against any defects in the property. The liability period starts from the moment that the Developer delivers the handover of vacant possession (“HOVP”) to you. The duration of the liability period varies depending on your Sale & Purchase Agreement and the type of developments (landed or high rise / stratified property).

During this period, any defects in your new property that you identifies should be reported to us in timely manner. These defects could include issues with construction, materials, or workmanship.

But no worries! We’ve got you covered as any defects found within the Defect Liability Period (DLP) will be fixed by us at no extra cost to you. It’s part of our commitment to delivering quality and peace of mind for your new home.
