A Clearance Letter (“CL”) is an official document issued by Sime Darby Property to confirm that you’ve settled all necessary payments and fulfilled any outstanding requirements related to your new property.

It’s usually issued after you receive your Vacant Possession (VP) notice and have cleared any final charges like utility deposits, or any other miscellaneous costs.

Once you have the Clearance Letter, you may then proceed to next step which is the Handover of Vacant Possession (“HOVP”) to collect the keys to your new home.
